FA Cup Wrap: Burnley, Leicester fall, Man City held as Chelsea advance
English Premier League side Burnley FC and reigning champions Leicester City both failed to advance to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup after falling in defeat to Lincoln and Millwall respectively on Saturday.
Lincoln became the first non-league side in 103 years to reach the FA Cup quarter-finals with a dramatic last-minute win over Burnley at Turf Moor, thanks to Sean Raggett’s header.
“I’m lost for words. It’s mad. I can’t believe it!” Raggett, 23, told BT Sport. “Crazy. A non-league side in the quarter-finals, in modern football. It’s unheard of.”
Elsewhere, a ten-man Millwall secured a stunning upset with another last-minute winner, by Shaun Cummings, to beat Leicester City as they advance to the last eight of the competition.
