Collaborations by specialists in the medical field have resulted in significant developments and breakthroughs that provide better pharmaceutical efficiency and production of effective drugs for human consumption and wellbeing. Nevertheless, several people especially from Africa believe as well as rely on herbal medicines as cures to some ailments.

Verification

Mayo Clinic, an online health platform that provides medical services in one of their publications mentioned that Ads for penis-enlargement products and procedures are everywhere. However, the organization said that there is little scientific approval for nonsurgical methods to enlarge p3nis, noting that no trusted medical organization endorses p3nis surgery for purely cosmetic reasons.

“Most of the techniques you see advertised do not work. And some can damage your penis. Think twice before trying any of them as seen,” some part of the article reads, warning against self-medication for p3nis enlargement.

Furthermore, according to Cleveland Clinic, another internet medical platform, proved that cloves contain Eugenol (a colorless aromatic liquid, phenol found especially in clove oil and used commercially in flavors and perfumes and in dentistry as an analgesic).

Hence, “Eugenol may have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties,” said Dr. Erik Modlo. “Consuming cloves in small amounts in foods is not harmful. But there is not enough scientific evidence to support its usage for medicinal purposes,” the health specialist added.

Also, a research conducted by Healthline showed gingerol (ginger) has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. For instance, it may help reduce oxidative stress, which usually results in having too many free radicals in the body.

Notwithstanding, healthcare outlets recommended that people suffering from any kind of ailments should not resort to self-medications or herbal medications rather should immediately contact a doctor for their safety.

What Experts Say

In an interview with Ripples Nigeria, Dr. Arowolo Kazeem, a medical doctor based in England, stated that there is unavailability of scientific evidence that supports the claim. Dr Arowolo further associated the post to one of the means usually adopted by online vendors to sell their merchandise. His words: “The claim is fake. She just wants to sell her merchandise.”

Corroborating Dr. Arowolo’s view, D.S Omeiza, another medical doctor from Kogi State Specialist Hospital, Lokoja, said: “People should not waste their time on such posts.”

Speaking further, Dr Omeiza advised people to consult Urologists if they experience any abnormalities in their manhood.

“If your manhood is working, use it wisely and be satisfied. If yours is malfunctioning, seek Urologists for help,” he said. “Do not waste your money to endanger your life because there’s no medical backing for it,” he concluded.

Conclusion

Investigation by Ripples Nigeria showed that the claim is scientifically unproven, as debunked by medical doctors and researchers, warning against possible adverse effects.
