Falz’s sophomore album hits number 1 on iTunes

Barely 24 hours after comic rapper Falz released his sophomore album on iTunes, the collection titled, ‘Stories That Touch’, found its way to the number one spot on the music streaming portal.

Thousands of fans of the rapper have been streaming and downloading the album since it dropped a day ago and to the surprise of the artiste and his teeming fans, it made it to the no. 1 selling spot on iTunes in the region by the end of Monday, beating Adele’s much-anticipated 25 and Justin Bieber’s Purpose which was released on November 13.

To this end, the Nigerian trained lawyer turned rapper who dropped his debut album ‘Whazup Guy’ in 2014 is so excited about the development.

Falz took to social media to share his excitement, when he wrote: “Mama, look at how we made it!!!! #NUMBER1ON ITUNES! #StoriesThatTouch. The album; Thanks for the love guys!”
