IPOB: Fani-Kayode attacks Junaid Mohammed, tells him to withdraw bloodletting comment

The claim by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) that it has only recorded one death thus far arising from the outbreak of coronavirus also known as COVID-19 has been refuted by Femi Fani-Kayode.

The former Aviation Minister in a post on Twitter on Monday while reacting to the death of former Managing Director of Pipelines and Products Marketing Company (PPMC), Suleiman Achimugu, said that he is the second person to die of the virus in Nigeria.

According to Fani-Kayode, the first death from coronavirus was an American in Ekiti State.

Fani-Kayode wrote on Twitter: “Former MD of PPMC Suleiman Achimugu has died from Coronavirus. He is the 2nd casualty in Nigeria. The 1st was an American who died in Ekiti state.

The NCDC on Monday confirmed what it said the first death from the Coronavirus disease in Nigeria.
