No past leader has insulted Nigerians the way Buhari does, God will judge him— Fani-Kayode

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said that he agrees with President Muhammadu Buhari that God will judge Boko Haram terrorist for their atrocities against the country and its citizens.

The minister however said that beyond the terrorist Boko Haram, that God should also judge those that made use of the activities of the insurgent group to gain power in 2015 as well as “those that have protected, encouraged and empowered the Fulani herdsmen”.

Buhari had after Boko Haram bombarded and killed no less than 30 citizens on Sunday in Borno, said judgment was awaiting the terrorists “not only from man, via the long arms of the law, but also from God Almighty.”

Responding to the statement on his official Twitter handle, Fani-Kayode wrote: “@MBuhari says God will judge Boko Haram. I concur.

“I believe He will also judge those that rode on their (Boko Haram’s) back to get to power in 2015 and used them against @GEJonathan.

“I believe He will also judge those that have protected, encouraged and empowered the Fulani herdsmen.”

Buhari had in 2015 assured Nigerians he would defeat Boko Haram in months if elected president and was massively voted for by Nigerians.

Aside the fact that the issue of Boko Haram continues to torment Nigeria almost five years after, the country has also had audacious acts of killer herdsmen to contend with, and President Buhari has been blamed by many for not being decisive on handling the latter issue.
