Don’t get too excited, Buhari will never approve state, LGA police – Fani-Kayode

One of the most ardent critics of President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) government, Femi Fani-Kayode, has berated him for not uttering a single word after being sworn-in for second term into office this Wednesday.

Fani-Kayode also applauded former presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, and Goodluck Jonathan for absenting themselves from the “fraudulent” inauguration ceremony at the Eagles Square, Abuja.

In a tweet on his official Twitter handle, Fani-Kayode wrote:

“I commend the courage and fortitude of OBJ and @GEJonathan for NOT attending the fraudulent inauguration ceremony that took place in Abuja this morning when a liar, a pretender, an imposter, an election-rigger and an electoral thief was purportedly sworn in as our President.

“The thief was so ashamed of himself that he could not even muster the courage to say “thank you” or offer a speech after being “sworn in”.

“Instead he put his tail between his legs and crawled back to hide in his Villa- fortress without saying a word to anyone. Shame on him!”

Buhari had kept mute all through the inauguration without offering the usual inaugural speech that always accompanied inauguration of elected public officials.

Ripples Nigeria learnt that an inaugural speech was initially included as part of the ceremony but was later removed for reasons yet unknown.
