In the next 4 years Buhari will break up Nigeria – Fani-Kayode

A former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the appointment of President Muhammadu Buhari to lead the fight against Covid-19 in West Africa.

He said the appointment was a mistake leaders of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) would regret.

Leaders of the ECOWAS had during a teleconference meeting on Thursday applauded Nigeria over its handling of Covid-19.

They subsequently appointed Buhari to lead the fight against the dreaded novel coronavirus in the region.

But responding in a tweet on his Twitter handle-@realFFF on Friday, Fani-Kayode slammed ECOWAS leaders for doing such.

He said they made the greatest mistake to have appointed Buhari, who according to him, can barely manage himself to now lead a fight against Covid-19 in ECOWAS states.

The former minister wrote:

“The greatest mistake that the ECOWAS leaders have made is to appoint @MBuhari as the leader of the fight against Covid 19. This is a cataclysmic error which they will deeply regret.
