Father of chained 9-year-old boy arrested
Officers of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested the fleeing pastor of the Key of Joy Celestial Church, Ajibawo, Atan Ota, Ogun State, Francis Taiwo who chained his 9 year old son.
Taiwo reportedly chained his son in a room for more than a month and starved him in the process.
The malnourished 9-year-old boy, Korede Taiwo, was rescued on Friday by officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, after concerned neighbours tipped them off about the incidence.

While Taiwo’s wife, who is Korede’s mother was arrested the state police command said the pastor was on the run.
The Ogun State Police Command’s spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi confirmed that the fleeing pastor was arrested on Sunday with the assistance of his church members.
