Fayose absent as govs meet Buhari

Governor Ayodele Fayose was conspicuously missing on Friday as President Muhammadu Buhari met with the state governors in the country.

This is the first official meeting Buhari is having with the governors since his return from a 104-day medical trip to the United Kingdom.

Fayose who had earlier vowed not to visit Buhari, was nowhere to be seen as the 35 governors entered the Council Chambers, Aso Rock for the meeting with the president.

The meeting was also attended by Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, and the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike among others

Fayose, an ardent critic of Buhari had said he has no apologies for the things he said in the past about Buhari while he was away on medical leave.

More details coming…

I know shame won’t allow the rogue to come, as if I know. Now he can’t face president buhari face to face, I believe president buhari will see him as prodigal son and pardon him. Ekiti indigene, you have no governor but a tout as your ruler

If not that Fayose tenure will soon be over, I would have implored the good people of ekiti state to recall the unruly governor. He is just denting the good image of ekiti state

I’m sure Buhari didn’t invite Fayose. Now it is obvious that the Ekiti state governor and Mr President are not in good terms. Buhari invited other governors and intentionally left Fayose out because of their beef, is this a sign of good leader?

I don’t think you know what you’re talking about! How will Buhari invite other PDP governors and not invite Fayose who’s not only a governor, but also a key member of PDP. It is not possible

Expect another drama from Fayose before the end of this week, I can’t wait to read another speech from him.
