Fayose wonders why FG omitted Diezani, Maina, Baru, Kyari in its ‘clownish’ list

Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose has mocked the list the Federal Government released on Friday as names of treasury looters in the country.

Describing the list which was released by Information and Culture Minister, Lai Mohammed, as clownish, Fayose queried why names of people like former Petroleum Minister Alison Dieziani Madueke, and ex-pension boss, Abdulrasheed Maina were omitted in the list.

He also wondered how the list failed to include names of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) boss, Maikanti Baru, as well as the name of National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) Executive Secretary, Usman Yusuf, all of whom have different corruption allegations leveled against them.

Fayose, who is also the PDP Governors’ Forum chairman, stated this in a post on his Twitter handle, questioning the sincerity of President Buhari’s anti-corruption war.

“Surprisingly, name of PDP (Peoples Democratic Party) chairman, Uche Secondus (N200 million) is on Lai Mohammed clownish ‘looters’ lists; that of Diezani that they claimed to have traced N47.2 billion and $487.5 million to was missing.

“Did FG lie against Diezani ab-initio or she is now baptized into APC comity of Saint Looters?

“Still about their corruption list, what happened to the NHIS Boss, Yusuf (sacked for fraud and reinstated by Buhari), Maina (the pension thief), NNPC boss, Baru ($25 billion contract scam), Abba Kyari (N500 million MTN scam) and others. Are they Saint Looters?”
