FBI bypasses Apple, hacks San Bernadino's shooters phone
The phone of a dead gunman behind the mass California shooting has been hacked by FBI investigators using a technique without the help of Apple.
The development which was announced on Monday now ends a simmering court battle between Apple and the American government.
Seeing that it was no longer necessary to continue its court action against one of the world leading phone makers, the government has asked a federal judge to vacate a disputed order forcing Apple to help the FBI break into the dead shooters iPhone.
There has been no official comment on the development by Apple much so as the Justice Department said in a statement that the FBI is now reviewing information on the iPhone of the dead San Bernadino shooter.
