The initial fears expressed by immigrants over the consequent implications of Trump’s emergence as President-elect of the United States of America may have just been confirmed after the business mogul turned politician vowed to deport as much as three million immigrants.

The move will however mostly apply to immigrants with criminal records and according to reports, Trump will give the go ahead in one of his first acts as President of the United States.

Trump while making the comments said; “we’re getting them out of our country” as he renewed his pledge to build a wall on the border with Mexico.

Continuing, Trump while answering questions in an interview with CBS added that; “What we are going to do is get the people that are criminal and have criminal records, gang members, drug dealers, where a lot of these people, probably two million, it could be even three million, we are getting them out of our country or we are going to incarcerate. But we’re getting them out of our country, they’re here illegally.”

He said that once the border is “secure” immigration officials will make a “determination” about the remaining illegal immigrants in the US, but hinted that they may be allowed to stay.
