FEC approves N8.6trn 2019 budget for presentation to NASS
The Federal Executive Council (FEC) at a special meeting on Friday, has approved the proposals for the 2019 budget.
The special meeting, which was called and presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari, approved the N8.6 trillion budget in preparation for its presentation to the joint session of both chambers of the National Assembly.

The Minister of Budget and National Planning, Udoma Udo-Udoma, disclosed this at the end of the meeting while speaking to State House Correspondents in Abuja.
According to Udo-Udoma, the executive would now liaise with the National Assembly to agree on a date for the presentation of the estimates by President Buhari.
