Federal Character Commission headquarters gutted by fire

The Federal Character Commission Headquarters in Abuja was Tuesday gutted by fire.

The fire, which was said to have been caused by an electrical fault, mostly affected the data centre of the commission.

The fire reportedly started in the server room of the centre.

Some eyewitnesses reportedly revealed that the affected offices were being used by the Management Information Systems unit.
