FG suspends military option against militants, set for dialogue

The Federal Government, Monday, said it is suspending the on-going military operations against Niger Delta militants who have been attacking oil installations in the oil rich region for two weeks.

According to the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, who announced the decision in Abuja, the suspension is to allow for dialogue with the militants and other aggrieved groups in the region.
