NLC vows to ensure new minimum wage is implemented

The president of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Ayuba Wabba, has said that the Federal Government is set to announce the new minimum wage as the Tripartite Committee set up to negotiate it has completed its assignment.

According to him, the outcome of the Tripartite Committee’s work has been submitted to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Mr Wabba stated this while speaking with newsmen in Abuja on Monday, adding that the committee used two days to reconvene and deliberate on a new minimum wage that was acceptable to all employers of labour in the country.
