FG wants to negotiate with itself not us, Avengers say
The Niger Delta Avengers (NDA), Wednesday refuted claims that it was ready to negotiate with the Federal Government.
The group denied any plan to dialogue with the Federal Government in a tweet by its spokesperson, Mudoch Agbinibo.
Reacting to the claim by Mr Ballantyne Agiri, who claimed to be the acting spokesperson for Avengers for the Dialogue Team, Agbinibo asked, “Who is Mr. Ballantyne Agiri, the claimed dialogue group spokesman? We do not know you and please stop fooling the general public.”

Agbinibo said: “That report is not from us. We are not in any form of dialogue agreement with anybody. It’s like the government wants to dialogue with themselves.”
Agiri had claimed a statement earlier that Avengers has accepted to hold talks with the Federal Government for peace to reign in the oil rich region.
