Fight over urine leaves one dead, 3 injured

In a bizzare incident, a fight over urine has left one dead and three injured in the Berger Suya area of Lagos

A young man has paid the supreme price for challenging another who urinated at a spot he felt was not good because of the nauseating odour from there.

The incidence which took place at Berger Suya area of Lagos State, has created tension in the area with traders locking up their shops, and residents moving around with caution.

The deceased was said to have challenged one Friday Momoh for urinating besides a parked truck which led to a brawl between them and their supporters, as the victim had warned Momoh beforehand not to urinate at the spot

Mr Momoh reportedly used a broken bottle on the victim during the fight which led to his death, with three other also injured in the melee.

Policemen from the nearby Trinity Police Division later stormed the area to end the commotion and restore normalcy.

The victim’s corpse is said to have been deposited in the morgue, while the injured people were taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment
