Finally, Khloe Kardashian drops ‘Odom’ from her last name

Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian has finally banished all the memory she has of her ex-husband after she officially dropped ‘Odom’ from her last name on her international passport.

The name drop was celebrated by Khloe and members of her family who celebrated the official name change with an appropriate cake indicating probably the last time Khloe signed her name as an Odom … on her divorce documents.

In April last year, Khloe decided to throw in the towel in her relationship with the basketball player because she feels she cannot help someone who doesn’t want to be helped.

The easy going celebrity in an emotional post last year said she had failed to help a husband who is characterized by a myriad of problems; “We have to learn to stop taking on people’s problems as if they are our own. Loving people does not mean we have to carry their burdens and confusions on our back.”

Continuing, Khloe says she realizes she cannot be Lamar’s saviour, “You forcing your beliefs and dreams down ones throat who is only going to cause resentment and possibly manifest deeper issues, possibly to the point of no return.”

Khloe seems to think Lamar may be a hopeless case, writing, “Don’t lose yourself by trying to fix what’s meant to stay broken.”

Easy going Khloe called for a divorce with Lamar last after hearing that he was back to drinking again after he nearly died of drug and alcohol overdose at a Nevada brothel in October 2015.
