OIL WELL FIRE: Ondo communities demand $2.5bn compensation from Chevron

The Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Apata, Ibadan depot was on Wednesday razed by fire.

The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained as efforts were on towards putting out the fire.

But some residents of the area said it was due to an electrical fault.

The incident, according to a source, led to a serious traffic gridlock on Apata-Abeokuta Road.
