Fire razes Oba of Lagos’ Palace (Video)
The Palace of the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Okiolu on Tuesday went up in flames, throwing the area into confusion and sadness.
The monarch has reportedly been whisked to a safe place, while officials of Lagos state fire service are battling the flame.
The cause of the fire is still unknown as at the time of this report, even as speculations have begun to fly that it is the wrath of the gods for the Oba’s recent actions.
It would be recalled that the Lagos king had recently at an event publicly shunned the Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, whose presence he refused to acknowledge with a handshake.
