It will not be the first time Nigeria will be playing an all-African knockout stage match at the Under-20 World Cup.

At the 2007 edition in Canada, Nigeria also faced Zambia in the Round of 16 and won 2-1 to reach the quarter-finals.

Senegal will depend on the scoring prowess of Amadou Sagna who scored an hattrick on opening day, with one of the goals currently the fastest goal ever scored in the history of the competition.

It is also worthy of not that Senegal are yet to concede a goal since the start of this competition, while the Eagles have conceded three goals.
