For the third time, Buhari off to London, via New York

President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday afternoon left Abuja on his way to New York City for the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The president left the country after a meeting with governors of Kano, Borno and Sokoto states, at the State House, Abuja.

Buhari, according to his Special Adviser on media and publicity, Mr Femi Adesina will make a stop by in London on his way from the UN event.

It was not clear however why the president is transiting through London on his way back to Nigeria, as Mr Adesina offered no explanations.

Recall however that President Buhari had on two previous occasions went to London for medical treatments.

On the first trip, he stayed for about 49 days, and spent 103 days on the second trip, which generated a lot of controversies, leading to protests in Nigeria and London with some Nigerians asking for his resignation.

The president’s media aide in announcing his departure made no mention of when Buhari is expected back in the country.

      You’ll definitely have a swell career in High Jump. The way you jumped into conclusion like Buhari told you he went to London for treatments again. Why not wait for official report of the real reason he’s stopping in London

    Nigerians should calm down, it is not a big deal for Buhari to go to London, his visit this time is definitely not on medical grounds
