FORFEITED FUNDS: APC In UK refers to Patience Jonathan as ‘greedy monster’

The governing All Progressives Congress (APC) United Kingdom (UK) chapter has described Nigeria’s former First Lady, Patience Jonathan as a “greedy monster”.

The party was reacting to the list released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) detailing the amount of funds Patience, wife of former President Goodluck Jonathan has forfeited to the Nigerian Government following court judgments.

In a tweet on its official Twitter handle, APC UK said “Greedy monster!”

It went further to list the forfeited funds released by the EFCC to include $429.39 million, $3.65 million, $4.7 million.

Others are N1.81 billion, N226.38 million, N1.09 billion, N39.42 million, N7.22 million, N55.94 million, N174.17 million, N858.93 million, N1.81 billion, N1.1 billion, N317.40 million and N1.90 billion.

The EFCC had disclosed the list of the forfeited funds on Monday after Justice Mojisola Olatoregun of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, ordered the final forfeiture of $8.4 million, N9.2b funds traced to Mrs. Jonathan to Nigerian Government.
