Former FBI director accused of bias against Trump sacked!

Andrew McCabe, the former deputy director of the FBI who stepped down from his role in the month of January but still remained an official of the agency has been sacked by US Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

McCabe who has frequently been accused of political bias by President Trump had been deeply involved in the FBI investigations into Hillary Clinton’s use of email and Russia’s alleged meddling in the presidential campaign before he was kicked out.

The sacking of McCabe comes two days before his 50th birthday, when he was expected to retire with pension rights.

Moments after the decision was made, President Trump welcomed Mr Sessions’ decision in a tweet.

McCabe’s sacking comes days after US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was given the marching orders by Trump.

The development was confirmed by Trump who conveyed it in an early morning tweet.
He also revealed that he is replacing the nation’s embattled top diplomat with CIA director Mike Pompeo.
