French village seeks re-listing by TETfund

Published

on

Nigeria French Language Village (NFLV) has called on the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) to re-list it as a beneficiary institution, just as it lamented paucity of funds for infrastructure.

The village, which used to receive funds from TETfund for infrastructure, was in 2010 delisted as a beneficiary institution.

The Guardian learnt that the current overhead from government is inadequate for building new infrastructure and maintenance of existing ones.

NFLV handles the French Language Immersion Programme for students of French from different universities and colleges of education in Nigeria.

According to the new governing council, there is the need to expand the hostel facilities and update the instructional materials.
