Most of them who reacted on twitter expressed their displeasure at the seeming inaction of government, especially given that the president is the petroleum minister.

Here are some comments from disturbed Nigerians;

@Yemi_adebowale: Why is @NGRSenate waiting for us to tell them that there is #FuelScarcity and also the need to summon
@MBuhari over the cause of hardship?

@MOHD_Ks: This #Fuelscarcity is about to make life unbearable to Nigerians. @MBuhari u made yourself d minister of petroleum so all blame is on you.

@alithebaptist: What’s our business with d number of ships that arrived Lagos with fuel?? Give us fuel shikena!!! #FuelScarcity

@lanredavido1: Despite the Minister of State for Petroleum giving his words on availability of product to serve the nation. #Fuelscarcity everywhere u go..

@Omojuwa: How is the ordinary Nigerian facing biting #FuelScarcity to take you serious when every week they hear news of another presidential trip?

@LOOKANDLAUGH: #Fuelscarcity funny enough for the last 1 week I have been getting fuel at night, is dis PMB’s way of makin us a 24hour economy?

@IAMaustinobioma: No fuel anywhere and someone is telling me to be patient with the Change govt? #Fuelscarcity

@Harbodunde: I still give kudos to late Yardua, he reduced the price of PMS drastically and yet the product was available, he remains the best. #FuelScarcity

@IkechiUgwoeje: I observed that most cars had their windows down today. Better to endure the heat than burn up fuel with AC use. #FuelScarcity
