Ganduje appoints State Head of Service
Kano state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has appointment Dr Kabiru Shehu as the State Head of Service.
In a statement released in Kano on Saturday by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Abba Anwar, the appointment was stated to take effect with immediate effect.
Until his appointment, Shehu was the Permanent Secretary, Manpower Directorate in the Office of the Head of Service and was recently transferred to the Governor’s Office.
In the statement, Ganduje assured that the state civil service would continue to thrive under his administration, adding that the immediate target was to make the civil service IT driven.
The governor charged the new Head of Service to continue with his selfless commitment to service and assured that the government would provide all necessary support for the development of the service.
