Gaurdiola loses pants as Bayern tears Porto apart

Porto’s defence was not the only thing to be ripped apart at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night as a jubilant Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola was left with a hole in his trousers.

Bayern Munich v Porto - UEFA Champions League Quarter Final Second Leg

Guardiola managed to tear the left trouser leg of his grey garments during an incredibly exciting night for Bayern, who led their opponents 5-0 at half-time.

The Spanish tactician’s underwear was on show after the incident, and he joked after the Champions League clash: ‘I’ll have to buy new ones for the next match.’

Majestic Bayern Munich destroyed Porto 6-1 to charge into the Champions League semi-finals 7-4 on aggregate on Tuesday and remain on track for a treble in Guardiola’s 100th competitive game in charge.

The five-time European champions, who lost 3-1 in the first leg last week, showed no sign of nerves as they dismantled the hapless Portuguese with an impressive attacking display for a fourth straight last four spot.

Despite missing Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery and David Alaba among others, Bayern took the initiative from the start.

Poor Porto, the dreamship could only sail so far. At least they had a victory against Bayern so there can always be improvements going forward. Congrats to Bayern, I have always been a fan of Pep’s tactics, hope he can take it all the way to the grand finale.
