Ghana’s President-elect to deliver keynote address at Future Awards 2016

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the President-elect of the Republic of Ghana has been earmarked to deliver the keynote address at the Future Awards Africa 2016 which will be staged in a couple of hours from now.

Speaking moments after he accepted to deliver the keynote address at the awards considered Africa’s biggest youth event, Nana Akufo-Addo said, of the Future Awards Africa, “This is a great initiative. Africa’s future lies in the hands of the empowered youth who have taken up the charge to shape it. I am looking forward to meeting my neighbours and friends, and to help echo the message of inspiration.”

He will now join other keynote speakers of the Awards, in past editions, who have been role model leaders, with exemplary profiles and global relevance, such as Dr. Okonjo-Iweala, former Coordinating Minster of the Economy, former Vice President of the World Bank, Obiageli Ezekwesili, to name a few.

Before he became a politician and President-elect of Ghana, Akufo-Ado used his law practice to champion the cause of human rights, rule of law, justice, freedom, and democracy as he is expected bring his vast wealth of knowledge and experience to bear at this year’s award ceremony which will be staged at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos.
