Girl, 15, narrates how her father and his friends raped her for 2 years (Video)

A 15-year old girl, name withheld, has narrated how her father, Chinonso Okonkwo, 44, had been defiling her since she was 13.

She also said that her father allowed his friends to also defile her when they visited their home in Orji, Owerri North area of Imo State.

The girl said at 13, she was living in their village in Orlu with a mother’s sister she identified as Ukamaka, before her father in September 2018 came to pick her up to reside with him.

She said one day while she was sleeping, her father came and started to romance her.

“When I asked him what was wrong? He said nothing was wrong and told me that he just wanted me to know that I’m his daughter and that he was not going to do anything bad to me.

“I believed him and that day we played. Then the next day I was not feeling fine and he used me and has been doing that since then without giving me drugs. Anytime I refused, he will beat me and my body will be so weak that I cannot even shout. He also threatened me not to shout or tell people about it.

“Also, anytime his friends came to the house and decide to sleep over, he would ask me to go and sleep with them and when I refused, he would beat me up. I allowed three of them (his friends) to use me.

“Now that they have arrested him, at least I have some peace,” she said.

She said the mother told her she left the father when she caught trying to rape her sister.

When the young girl got frustrated of the whole thing, she said she told the landlady of their resident, who in turn informed a neighbour one Mrs Okorie.

Mrs Okorie’s husband, according to the girl reported the matter to Orji Police Division, when the wife told him about it.

Okonkwo, who confessed having carnal knowledge of the daughter said, he did not know what came over him to commit the crime.

On how the culprit was arrested, Imo Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO), Orlando Ikeokwu said the police was informed of the alleged incest by a reasonable citizen, adding that policemen from Orji Divisional Police Headquarters caught Okonkwo in the act with the daughter, when they visited his home.

“When the culprit was arrested he made a confessional statement to that effect,” Ikeokwu said.

According to him, through a probe, it was revealed that the man had been sleeping with the daughter and allowing his friends to do the same with her.
