The girl found not one of the 219 Chibok schoolgirls, FG says

Nigeria’s Federal Government has retracted its announcement on Wednesday that one more of the 219 abducted Chibok schoolgirls have been found.

It said the girl who was found was instead a junior secondary school “student from Chibok community

The Special Adviser (SA) to President Muhammadu Buhari on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, had on Thursday informed State House Correspondent that one of the abducted schoolgirls from Chibok has been found.

However, Laolu Akande, spokesman for Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, later tweeted that the latest girl was a junior secondary school “student from Chibok community”.
The teenage girl was reportedly picked up by the military after she escaped from the jihadist Boko Haram terrorists group.
