Reps issue 4-point declaration on NFF crisis

In from Nifemi Daniel . . .
The crisis rocking the Nigeria Football Federation took another twist on Wednesday as club owner, Chris Giwa has concluded plans to invade the NFF secretariat and take over the leadership by seeking a court injunction.

The reconciliation moves by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung appears to have collapsed with Giwa approaching a civil court.
Ripples Nigeria discovered that Giwa’s group has begun a judicial proceeding at the Federal High court in Jos, asking for an injunction to take over the Glass House from Amaju Pinnick led board.

This latest move has sent fear and panic through the staff at the NFF secretariat who were seen discussing the issue in hush tones.
The NFF General Secretary, Sanusi Mohammed, and some senior staff are already strategising on how to run to world soccer ruling body, FIFA due to FIFA’s stance that football matters cannot be taken to the civil court.
