Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has stated that God had a purpose and great plans for Nigeria with the kind of persons He had placed “in strategic positions” in the country at this time.

He revealed this at the Kingdom Summit 2017 of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Kings Court Parish, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Sunday.

Osinbajo, however, said that the strategic position notwithstanding, not much would be actually achieved if the leaders failed to live by the gospel.

“I am so pleased and happy and I believe that the Almighty God has a plan for our nation by putting us in strategic positions in politics, business and everywhere.

“But, the strategic positions He has placed us, we will be of no effect there unless we are prepared to live by His gospel.

“There is no wisdom of man that can change men or change nations; it is the power and wisdom of God that can’’, Osinbajo said.

The vice president, who titled his remarks “Neither Jew, nor Gentile’’, said that the gospel was transformational, adding that the only way to transform the nation was to obey the gospel, advising citizens to free themselves from the canal and simply return to the gospel in all they did.

Osinbajo thinks he can cajol us with the gospel when the government isn’t working. God has greater plans for us, but the evil people we have in government will not let the plans be reality.

There’s nothing Godly about Nigeria’s politics except we want to keep deceiving ourselves. Osinbajo who’s a pastor has gone against God’s will since he delved into politics, he has lied to nigerian be manipulated us, these things are not Godly.

Lol… Politicians will forever be liars! Especially Nigerian politicians. Osinbajo’s speech are always crafted to suit every gatherings, hence, telling people whatever they want to listen too. He went spiritual on Nigeria’s issue because he was in a relegious gathering. No one should take him seriously
