Gold Breweries, Sunu Assurance, Lafarge, others top list of stocks to watch this week

Investors in the Nigerian equities market enjoyed profitable sessions and earned a massive N426.68 billion as profit on the trading floor of the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) last week.

The bourse recorded gains in three of the five trading sessions last week.

Similarly, the All-Share Index (ASI) appreciated by 0.72% to close the week at 98,210.75 from 97,506.87 points recorded the previous week.

The market capitalization increased from N59.29 trillion to N59.53 trillion during the period.

The performance was buoyed by strong showing from stocks like Gold Breweries, Sunu Assurance, and Lafarge to lay claims to the title of stocks to watch in the new week.

GOLD BREWERIES • 5.40 ▴ 0.49 (9.98%)
