El-Rufai moves to outshine Lagos seaports

The Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai has called on security agencies in the state to clear out criminals in the Birnin Gwari area of the state to pave the way for planned economic activities.

Governor El-Rufai who gave the charge in a series of tweets on his official Twitter handle on Tuesday said that efforts to make the area a hub for mining and agriculture have not yet reached lofty targets.

He thus called on concerned authorities to do the needful as the rampant criminal activities in the area have stalled efforts to make the area economically viable through government projects.

Governor El-Rufai said; “Efforts to make the area a hub for mining and agriculture have not yet reached the lofty targets being falsely peddled as KDSG’s 10-point plan for solving banditry.

“KDSG did not author or issue the said 10-point plan, which contains untrue claims about contacts and agreements with partners.

“The public should note that all KDSG major events and policy statements are clearly announced on official platforms,” he stated.
