Gov Fintiri relaxes curfew in Adamawa

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has relaxed the 12-hour curfew imposed on the state following the violence that trailed the #ENDSARS protests in the country.

The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Humwashi Wonosikou, who disclosed this in a statement in Yola, said the curfew would now run from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., daily.

He said the review of the curfew followed the gradual return of peace in the state.

Wonosikou said: “The Adamawa State government has reviewed the 12- hour curfew imposed on the state following events of the aftermath of the #ENDSARS protest.

“The curfew earlier imposed from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. has now been relaxed with immediate effect.

“People are allowed to move around and go about their normal businesses from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.”
