The governorship candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Bauchi State, Ambassador Ahmed Shuaibu, has accused Bauchi state Governor, Mohammed Abubakar, of wasting public resources.
Shuaibu said the governor monthly allots N40m to each of his two wives, Hajia Hadiza and Hajia Aisha, for feeding.
The governorship candidate made this allegation on Sunday while addressing members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) , the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPS) and some Civil Society organisations in Bauchi.
The programme, 2019 Joint Governorship Manifestos Presentation, was organised by the various groups ahead of the 2019 governorship and state House of Assembly elections.
