A group known as Bogoro Youth Vanguard in Bogoro local government area of Bauchi State has berated former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara for launching media attack on Governor Bala Mohammed.

The group in a statement on Sunday described Dogara as a desperate politician seeking notice and recognition by President Bola Tinubu‘s administration.

The statement was signed by the group chairman, Habila Daniel Dodo, and the secretary ,Philip Y. Kimsa.

The youths opined that the attack on the governor by the former speaker was unnecessary and uncalled for.

Dogara had a few days ago condemned Governor Mohammed’s criticism of the Tinubu administration.

The statement read: “He ( Dogara) should rather seek for other means to be able to get back on political track than engaging in a political fight that will further drown his political career.

“Sen. Bala Mohammed has not only demonstrated capacity in rebuilding Bauchi and ensuring the existence of sustainable peace and mutual relationship among the citizens of the state and its environs, but his pro-activeness has also been a point of reference even by PBAT himself.

“Dogara brought division in Za;ar land having served as the 4th citizen of this country as Speaker of the House of Representatives and never for once recognized Komo as Ngun Za’ar in any function but will come out today to use Komo as a tool to gain sympathy from our people is worth looking at.
