A group known as the South-West Frontiers, has accused governor Rotimi Akeredolu of working for Action Alliance  (AA) in the forthcoming election.

The group also alleged that the governor instructed all supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to work for the candidates of the AA across the eighteen  local government areas of the state.

The group in a statement on Thursday by the Coordinator, Mr Joseph Ayodele said, “There is a need for the party leadership at the national level to sanction Akeredolu, he has been involved in anti-party activities by dumping the APC candidates to support the candidates of the Action Alliance.

“He is even doing it with impunity as if the party has no constitution. He also demonstrated it in the campaign rally he held in Owo on Wednesday; he asked the supporters to vote for Buhari in the presidential election and vote for any candidate of their choice in the senatorial election. He did not campaign for the senatorial candidate of our party.

“We need to work together to be able to be victorious in the election, we must understand that united we stand, divided we fall.”
