Gunmen attack Davido in South Africa

Silver spoon music star Davido was attacked by two armed men in South Africa moments after he landed in the country. The artiste was in the company of his manager, Kamal, and they were on their way to their hotel when they were accosted by the robbers.
They were both dispossessed of their personal effects including a Rolex watch, passport and cash. Thankfully, both were left unhurt after the robbery attack.
Moments after the unfortunate incident, Davido posted his thoughts about the attack on social media, thanking God for sparing his life. “Thank God for my life… If not for him… It would have been a different story. My daughter’s face was flashing through my eyes the whole time…

Davido’s attack is coming barely weeks after a Nigerian beauty queen; Benedicta Akpana was robbed at gunpoint in South Africa. The beauty queen who was crowned Miss Heritage Nigeria 2015 earlier this year was robbed in Johannesburg by three gun men while she was waiting to be checked into her room.
She was dispossessed of her belongings and travel documents at gun point, just at the reception right before the receptionist and security men, who couldn’t help her.
