Gunmen in military camouflage storm Abuja community, abduct nine persons

No less than nine persons were on Monday night abducted by gunmen in military uniform in Pegi, a community in Kuje area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

The gunmen were said to have ambushed and abducted the victims, including a 12-year old boy at about 8 pm, while they were returning home.

According to the chairman of Pegi Community Development Association, Taiwo Aderibigbe, the unknown gunmen shot at two vehicles including the driver of a pick-up van who sustained injuries.

Meanwhile, the Police is yet to confirm the report as at the time the story was filed in for publication.
