Gunmen kill 2 policemen, abduct 2 foreigners in Kaduna
Two policemen were on Wednesday killed and two foreigners, an American, and a Canadian, kidnapped in Kaduna State by unknown gunmen.
The incident which has been confirmed by the Kaduna State Police Command spokesman, Mr Mukhtar Aliyu, happened in Kagarko Local Government Area of the state.
According to the police spokesman, the armed kidnappers ambushed the vehicle coveying the two foreigners along the Jere-Kargao Road on Tuesday night.
The victims were returning to Abuja from Kafanchan when they were killed and abducted.

Aliyu said, “The two policemen attached to the vehicle were shot dead during an exchange of gunfire with the kidnappers who later took away the foreigners to an unknown destination.
“Operatives of the Anti-Kidnnappimg Unit have been deployed to rescue the American and Canadian, as well as apprehend and arrest their abductors.”
