Hassan replaces ‘Emir of Nasarawa’ as environment minister

The Minister of State for Power, Works and Housing, Suleiman Hassan has been appointed to replace Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Jibril who has been named as the emir of Nasarawa, in the federal ministry of environment.

The announcement was made at the Federal Executive Council meeting held Wednesday and presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Hassan who hails from Gombe state has also been mandated to immediately take charge of the ministry.

It will be recalled that Jibril resigned his appointment after he emerged as the new emir of Nasarawa.
