Having kids is a selfish desire —Nigerian gay writer, Vicent Desmond
A Nigerian LGBT and fashion storyteller, Desmond Vicent, stated on Monday, that it was selfish and an abuse of human right to bring a child to the world.
LGBT stands for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trangender community.
He revealed his “beef” in his Instagram stories, with an headline “this is why I am deleting Twitter.”
“My personal beef with having kids is that I think having kids is an inherently very selfish thing,” he said.

The writer reiterated that in his opinion, “bringing in a whole human and forcing them to live and participate in life and society,” because of one’s desire is sheer greediness.
He quizzed, “And for what? Bragging rights? Because you feel it’s time?
The young pop culture writer who publishes content around homosexuality through ‘Dear Queers’, an online platform for LGBTIQ+ Nigerians is one of the few Nigerians who have daringly revealed that he belongs to the community.
