Following his rant on Live TV at the Headies, YBNL honcho, Olamide, has apologised for his conduct at the awards staged Friday night.

The street hop artist took to his Instagram page to apologise to his fans for swearing on TV saying they deserve better from him while also promising to conduct himself better in the future.

“I want to use this opportunity to apologise to my fans for my conduct, including swearing on Live TV at the Headies event staged some hours ago. I recognise that you all are the most important part of my work and my journey so far; I wouldn’t have come this far without you. Therefore, you deserve better from me. I promise to conduct myself in a better manner in the future,” he posted on Instagram.

Recalling the incident, Olamide spilled his guts when his protégé Lil Kesh didn’t emerge winner of the Next Rated category of the Headies. Instead, Mavin act, Reekado Banks emerged the winner in the category but many, especially on Twitter, thought YBNL’s Lil Kesh deserved the award.

Olamide obviously didn’t like the eventuality and when he had the opportunity to come on stage with his crew he thundered, saying; “This award belongs to Lil Kesh. Lil Kesh is our own Next Rated artist. F**k that s**t! The streets ti take over. Every f**king single was a hit back to back. From ‘Lyrically’ to ‘Shoki’ to ‘Efejoku’. Ko Ni Dafun Iya Anybody”. Olamide then tossed the microphone away and walked off the stage with his crew.
