Heavy security as Fayose arrives Lagos Court
The immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Peter Ayodele Fayose is currently in the premises of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos amidst tight security.
The former governor was brought to the court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for arraignment for an alleged fraud of N2.2 billion.
Fayose was brought to the court in a white Toyota Hiace bus amidst tight security provided by operatives of the anti-graft agency and riot policemen.

It would be recalled that Fayose, whose tenure expired on the 15th of October, surrendered to the EFCC on the 16th and has been in detention since then.
The EFCC was reported to have obtained a two week holding order to keep the former governor pending the conclusion of its investigation.
