Here comes #KardBlock App, blocks out anything Kardashian
If you are one of those who feel their lives have been invaded by Kardashian news; Kardashian this, Kardashian that, then you are in luck. A new app that can help you avoid anything Kardashian is now available.
#KardBlock is a new app created by James Samir Shamsi. It is free and will be launched on Sunday. It promises to save you from the relentless news on Kim and Khloe’s booty challenge, and whatever is going on with the Kardashian clan.
Shamsi spoke to ET about how the app works:
“It looks up keywords in articles and topics coming up in your newsfeed, and we’re also going to expand it over to the entire Internet,” Shamsi explained. “If it has anything to do with the Kardashians, we simply replace it with a donation link to whatever crisis or charity that is going on that hasn’t been given enough attention or a news story.”
More than 30,000 people have already signed up for the beta version.
Shamsi said grateful people are already reaching out to his team to thank them for the app.
“All in all, we get hundreds of e-mails from people saying thank you so much,” Shamsi said.
“We’re not doing this for the money,” Shamsi added. “We’re going to set up a donation page that will go straight to Nepal.”
