HFN sets target to develop handball

President of the Handball Federation of Nigeria Samuel Ocheho has said the HFN will continue to develop the sport in the country.

The national U-20 and U-18 boys’ teams have qualified for the 2019 IHF U-18 and U-20 World Cups.

Ocheho, who spoke with The PUNCH correspondent in Lagos on Wednesday, said the HFN had plans to ensure that the national teams continue their steady progress.

“The recent developments in handball came as a result of the efforts of the federation and various stakeholders in the sport. But we will not stop there because we have more plans for the development of the sport,” he said.
