'High profile thief' arrested by police while trying to con minister

Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos Police Command have arrested a ‘high profile thief’ identified as Prince Agabi Junior Okanu who specialises in conning very important personalities.

Reports say the suspect who disguises himself as a dignitary was nabbed at a high profile event where he was seated behind Ministers and other dignitaries, as Vice President Osinbajo performed the ground breaking ceremony for Lagos – Ibadan Railway Project on Tuesday.

A police source said he was speaking with a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria when he was invited out, interrogated and promptly arrested.
